Owners proudly open doors to tap room at Brewery

WINDSOR, California; February 6th, 2014 – As St. Florian’s Brewery officially turns “1” today, the owners of St. Florian’s Brewery announce the opening of their Sonoma County tap room.  They welcome visitors starting at 4pm at 7704A Bell Road in Windsor, adjacent to their brewing facility.  St. Florian’s Brewery currently self-distributes from Sonoma County down through to Santa Cruz County, out to Napa County down through the East Bay.  They expect to branch out to Sacramento within the upcoming months.

“Today is a monumentous day for our brewery,” said Aron Levin, COO/Owner.  “It’s a day to look back on all that Amy & I have accomplished as a team, as well as to get our wheels turning about all the things that we’ll make happen this next year.”  To date, St. Florian’s Brewery is operated entirely by the hands of the two owners, from brewing to delivery.  “And, today is all about the people who have supported us in building our success, so it feels absolutely right to give the people what they want & welcome everyone to our tap room!” added Amy Levin, CEO/Owner.

St. Florian’s Brewery Tap Room will be open on Fridays from 4-8pm, Saturdays from 12-8pm & Sundays from 12-8pm.  Any additions or changes to these hours will be posted on St. Florian’s Brewery social media sites & website.

Aron Levin, COO/Owner, is the Brewer & handles all technical aspects of the Brewery, including production & packaging processes.  Aron has been involved with brewing for over twenty years.  Mr. Levin gained skills in his role as a firefighter which exponentially enhanced his brewing aptitude.  Amy Levin, CEO/Owner, oversees all other aspects of the Brewery, such as sales, marketing, PR, shipping, distribution & accounting.  Mrs. Levin has over 10 years of well-rounded, award-winning experience in Silicon Valley software sales under her belt.  She attributes her success to providing the highest level of customer care & relishes being in an arena for which she has a personal passion.

St. Florian is the patron saint of firefighters.  Aron Levin, COO/Owner, a full-time Fire Captain, suffered minor burns while on a fire scene.  Amy Levin, CEO/Owner, quickly realized those injuries could have been much worse & gave a thumbs-up of gratitude to Saint Florian for safeguarding her husband.  As words of praise for the patron saint came out of her mouth, lightbulbs went off & she knew they needed to name their brewery in his honor.  A minimum of 5% of profits are donated to fire-related & community-based organizations.

St. Florian’s Brewery current beer menu includes St. Florian’s Brewery IPA, their “East Coast meets West Coast style” IPA.  It is very hoppy, while having a strong malt backbone, making for an exceptionally well-balanced drinking experience.  St. Florian’s Brewery California Common is a lager brewed at ale temperatures.  It is thick, rich & malty in body; yet, fruity, crisp & refreshing in flavor.  The style is said to be native to the San Francisco Bay Area.  Future releases are right on the horizon.

St. Florian’s Brewery currently distributes St. Florian’s Brewery IPA in 6-packs, 22-ounce bottles, 1/6 barrel kegs & 1/2 barrel kegs.  California Common is distributed in 22-ounce bottles, 1/6 barrel kegs & 1/2 barrel kegs.
